Networking: Friends, professionals networks, skill acquisition training, relevant social gathering - church etc.
Newspapers: Job advertisements on their vacancy pages
Internet: Job search engines such as the Nationale Vacature Bank, Intermediair and Monsterboard, vacancy pages of organizations; Retail Choice, handy for shop workers and service industry jobs, HotelCareer, Caterer, Hospitalityonline post jobs in hospitality and catering industry. Social media platforms like Linkedin, Twitter, FB etc.

UWV WERKbedrijf (Public Employment services): Either drop by in person or search for vacancies online

Make sure you have an up-to-date CV which fully reflects your skills, education, work experience and personal profile. Try to keep it as brief and relevant as possible.
Always support any job application with a clear overview or motivation letter setting out your primary requirements and career objectives. Be sure to customise this letter for each application.
Stay flexible and be ready to attend interviews as opportunities emerge.
Take initiative: To apply for work at a particular company that currently has no vacancies, send an unsolicited application. Some employers often appreciate the initiative.
