2 Medford Lakes Home and School Association
Parent run nonprofit organization to raise money for our schools. Lunch program at the schools Run fundraising activities and fun events throughout the year Coordinate classroom parties Hospitality events for school staff All the money we raise is given directly to our schools: New classroom fans, 6th Grade Trip to Ockanickon, transportation for field trips, assemblies, canoe folders, agenda books, seat sacks, 8th Grade graduation gift cards, teacher requests, maintaining lunch program and the list goes on.

3 School Lunch Program Lunches are provided by local area restaurants and grocery stores. Orders are placed monthly using Volunteers are NEEDED to serve lunch to the students at both schools. Be sure to fill out a lunch server volunteer form (found in the Thursday packets) ASAP as we will be making the lunch server volunteer schedule shortly. Any and all questions can be ed to

4 ½ Day Soft Pretzels Pretzels are served on the ½ days of school.
Pretzels are purchased from Philly Pretzel Company. Orders must be placed for the entire school year. Order forms will be going out shortly via Thursday Packet. Volunteers are needed at Neeta to distribute pretzels to middle school students on ½ days.

Box Top Contests Screen Free Week Summer Reading Rewards (September) Bike Registration (September) Screen Free Week (April) Battle of the Books (Neeta May) Field Day (June) Four Fun Classroom Parties (Grades K-5): Halloween, Winter, Valentine’s Day and End of the Year Coordinated and run by room parent and parent volunteers Room parent forms will be sent out shortly via Thursday Packet You must attend 4 HSA Meetings to be eligible to be a room parent.

7 Summer Reading Program
Home and School provides a special reward for the children who participate in the Summer Reading Program. Keep a log of time read and book title. Submit to teacher first week of school. Students entering grades K - 2 must read (or be read to) at least 10 hours of material, that’s only 10 minutes a day. Students entering grades must read at least 20 hours of material, that's only 20 minutes a day. Students entering grades must read at least 30 hours of material, that's only 30 minutes a day

9 We run on volunteers Monthly Meetings
First Thursday of every 7pm Neeta Library (babysitting is provided) Coffee Club 8:30am in the Neeta Library. We ask that you attend at least 4 HSA Meetings to be eligible to attend parties (Medford Lakes Home and School Association) Membership forms available. The monthly calendar pinned at the top of the page. Members post daily about HSA events. Please consider volunteering your time, energy and ideas. We have a few open committees that need a chairperson. We are always look for new ideas.
