At 8:15 am you should be in your homeroom, seated, and prepared to begin working on your warm-up assignment. Anytime after 8:15 am is considered tardy! Lining up for your classes
Line up in a single file line outside the door of your next class. Wait patiently and quietly for your teacher to let you into the room.

Hallway Procedures 1. Walk on the right, single file, on the red blocks. 2. Keep your eyes open for the person in front of you stopping. 3. Walking through the halls is NOT a time to talk!!

Lunch Procedures You will go to lunch with your 3rd Academic Core teacher 1. Line-up by sections the teacher selects in the classroom. 2. Use the hand-sanitizer on the way out of the room. 3. The last person to leave the room should turn off lights & close the door. 4. We’ll have stopping points along the way to make sure we stay together. 5. Remember to be quiet and walk single file along the red boxes, as there are other classes going on in our hall! Click for More…

In the cafeteria Purchasing lunch: Have your lunch number ready!
There are three (3) lunch lines with a variety of items in all three lines. Line up single file and you’ll be directed in the food area a few students at a time, the menu is posted so please be ready to make your selection. In the food area, please be quiet and quick, so we can all get through the line in a timely manner. Sitting down: We have assigned tables, please fill in the next seat, enjoy your social time to visit with your peers and enjoy your lunch. Throwing away food: When you are finished eating, make sure your floor /table area is clean. Walk to empty your tray, use the restroom, then return to your same seat and visit with your peers. Leaving the cafeteria: You will be dismissed by Mrs. Toggas or your 3rd Core teacher, and will line up in the order you were seated. Continue to follow hallway procedures on the way back to your room. Report to Gator Time (1st Core)

Restroom: You may use the restroom: In case of “bathroom emergencies”:
*While in the restroom, be quick, clean, and quiet. You may use the restroom: In the cafeteria in the mornings BEFORE walking down the 6th grade hall. During class bathroom break (beginning of 2nd block – 9:27am) At lunch / recess Only during the “practice” portion of a lesson (EMERGENCIES ONLY!!) In case of “bathroom emergencies”: You must completely fill out your agenda before you ask the teacher to use the restroom. *ALWAYS sign out when leaving the classroom and sign in when you return!!

Gator Time – 30 minutes *Then the cycle will start again.
Rotating Subject Specific Classes Gator Time will be strictly for subject specific review and make-up work. *You will see each teacher at least once a week during Gator Time. Example: Monday - 1st Block teacher Gator Time. Tuesday - 2nd Block teacher at Gator Time. Wednesday - 3rd Block teacher at Gator Time. Thursday - 4th Block teacher at Gator Time. Friday – Back to 1st block. *Then the cycle will start again.

Agenda: Your agenda is like a third arm…you will NEED to have it with you at ALL TIMES!!!

Lockers: You will go to lockers as soon as you arrive at school and after lunch. In the morning, you need to take out all materials for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Block. After third block or during Gator Time you will need to get everything for the rest of the day (bookbags, HW, etc.) Locker break is a privilege. It is not a time to socialize. How to open your locker For instance, if the combination is

How to visualize it Right, left, right

The first number Spin the dial at least three times to the right (clockwise), all the way around. This "clears" the lock of any previous numbers. Turn the dial to the right and stop at your first number (if the combination is , then the first number is 34).

The second number Turn the dial to the left, going past zero and your first number. Then go to your second number. If the combination is , then the second number is 6).

The third and final number
Then, after that, turn the dial to the right and go directly to the last number. Pull the lock open and out of the hole, or pull the latch or handle, if there is one. Otherwise, tug on the knob to open the locker. If the combination is , then the third number is 21).
