1 CBSE INTRODUCED NEW EXAM PATTERN 2019-2020
CLASS 12 New exam pattern would test students on their analytical ability and reduce the scope of rote Learning(Memorizing) Internal Assessment In All Subjects Internal Choice In Question Paper Objective Type Questions

2 Why the assessment process changed?
Students must acquire the skills of Critical thinking Problem-solving Analyzing information Collaboration Effective communication Developing curiosity and imagination as part of the learning process.

3 INTERNAL ASSESSMENT IN ALL SUBJECTS
CBSE will conduct board exam for 80 marks only. New scheme of assessment all the subjects will have 20% (20 marks out of total 100) marks for internal assessment. Science subjects and fine arts will continue to be of 70 and 30 marks. Commerce Stream Subject Theory Internal /Practical English 80 20 Maths Accountancy Business Studies Economics Marketing 60 40 Science Stream Subject Theory Internal /Practical English 80 20 Maths Physics 70 30 Chemistry Computer Biology

4 How internal mark(20) will be assessed ?
Will be assessed by the Subject teachers throughout the year. Subject Internals /Practical English Assessment of Speaking & Listening(ASL) Maths Activities based on the Topics Covered Physics Practical Based on CBSE Curriculum Chemistry Practical Based on CBSE Curriculum Computer Science Biology Accountancy Project Report on the topics prescribed by CBSE Curriculum. Business Studies Project Report on the topics prescribed by CBSE Curriculum Economics Marketing Project Report on the topics prescribed by CBSE curriculum

5 INTERNAL CHOICE IN QUESTION PAPER CBSE introduced internal choice in
33% questions in Board Question paper. Now students will find 33% internal choice in all the sections in the question paper in all subjects. Thus, students will have plenty of options to choose the questions which will help them to answer the question that they know better. The overall difficulty level of the question paper will be reduced .

6 OBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS
CBSE will put 25% objective type questions including multiple-choice questions (MCQ) in all the subjects.  It means, there will be at least 20 Marks questions out of total 80 marks will be objective type questions.

7 Is it Really Helpful? Yes ,new initiative will certainly help students get ready for the assessment process after school exams. So far CBSE assessed the students on subjective questions whereas, after school, students face many competitive exams. The new pattern will enable the students to fair well in both subjective and objective questions.

8 The parents' role can act as a catalyst for
PARENTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A CHILD'S HEALTHY PREPARATION FOR FACING THEIR BOARD EXAMINATION The parents' role can act as a catalyst for increasing the performance of their child. Talk with them freely. Take out time for leisure activities Fix a time table. Subjects to study per day Topics to cover per day Motivate them to compete with their own self. Avoid putting unnecessary pressure. Track their health & eating habits.
