A good rule of thumb is to mix a serif headline font with a sans serif body text font. And visa versa.

Highlight only in TCOJC palette colors or tints thereof.
In general, 28pt minimum is readable in auditorium.
Anything smaller is unreadable from a distance.

5. Another design tip is to use a deep background for your title slide and a corresponding color pale background for body text slides, i.e., deep olive with pale olive.
If your document/presentation requires columns or charts with numbers, it is always advisable to create your charts using arial numbers as they are clearer from a distance. vs
Page numbering is advisable to be created in a tint or shade of the background color and to place them at the lower left of the page so they stand out in the clear left margin. See example shown below. 24
