1. Bags
Task >
You have been employed as a young designer by a leading high street chain. Your job will be to design a bag suitable for sale in the shops. The bag must include a decorative feature. This feature should be as original/inventive as possible. You will also need to make the bag to a high standard.

2. Aims
In completing this module it is expected that you will achieve the following:
Produce an innovative and well made product.
Complete all design work to a high standard.
Work safely and consider the safety of others.
Present your work to a high a standard as possible.
Assessment in Design Technology
During Year 7 will you will be given an opportunity to work in four material areas – namely Food, Resistant materials, Systems & Textiles. At the end of each module your teachers will award you a level. You will be also given an opportunity to discuss your strengths and how you can improve your work. It is important that you work well in all the modules to achieve as high a final level at the end of Year 7.
