Guarantee more transparency Need for a global safety info exchange network under ICAO leadership Exchange of safety info will require: quality of data, standardisation, intended use, and protection of sources Turn raw safety data into relevant, validated safety information Keep travelling public more transparently informed

Lessons learned from recent accidents and operational experience Introduce new technologies Apply SMS pples. to flight deck activities Review training standards Improve technical cooperation Prioritize in function of safety deficiencies ICAO playing a greater coordinating role Work through regional organisations
