Please note that there are two different versions: the first two pages are a student/parent signature cut-out slip and the second two pages are simply a signature section that is not intended to be cut out. EXPECTATIONS: Students will treat their peers, the instructor, the classroom, and the equipment with respect. Each student is expected to follow the school's code of conduct Students will arrive in class and be seated before the bell rings. Students will come to class prepared and keep an organized notebook. REQUIRED MATERIALS: 3-ring binder loose leaf paper writing utensils colored pencils Red or Black Pens Projects Classwork Homework Quizzes {sign and date other side}

3 Designated Social Studies Tutoring Time: TBD
Notebooks: Each student will be required to keep up with and maintain a notebook for this class. Notebooks will be divided up into units that are used as a guide for organization and studying. Students will be updating their “Table of Contents” and will be adding notes to their notebook daily. On unit test days, notebooks will be checked for being in the correct order, complete and neat. These notebook checks will count as 2 classwork grades. . Homework: Refer to TMSA Handbook homework policy. . Latework/Makeupwork Policy: ed assignments will NOT be counted unless specified by Mrs. Jackson. • Turning in assignments late will result in a loss of points (10 % off day 1, 20% day 2, 30% day 3 etc….) • Students will receive zeros for class work that they do not complete. • Students will have 5 days to make up assignments, quizzes, or tests that are missed due to absence • Students are eligible to correct tests/retake tests at teacher’s discretion if a grade of 70 or lower is earned FIND ME HERE: EXTRA HELP: Designated Social Studies Tutoring Time: TBD It is my job, as teacher, to maintain an environment in which all students can learn comfortably. Therefore, disruptive, inappropriate, and disrespectful behaviors will not be tolerated. Expected behaviors may need to be reinforced until a solution can be reached, including consequences.
