1. An integrated modeling is successfully applied to transport simulation for long pulse steady state discharge on EAST
Under the OMFIT integrated modeling framework, an workflow was developed for transport simulation
The workflow integrated the following modules
ONETWO/NUBEM/GENRAY-CQL3D/TORAY-GA for current evolution and sources/sinks
EFIT for equilibrium calculation
TYGRO/TGLF/NEO for ne/Te/Ti/Rotation transport simulation
The simulation reproduced the temperature profiles and current density profiles of EAST long pulse steady state discharge
The simulation also revealed the synergy effect of on- axis ECH and LHW to improve confinement:
On-axis ECH makes the LHW deposit to central region
Peak current density profile could suppress the high-k micro- instabilities at the central region and improve the confinement
