This will show my future employers how responsible I am online and in real life.
This will show my skills and abilities to future employers.
If I post something inappropriate or irresponsible it might affect me in the future when I want a job.

3. Pros and cons of the digital footprint
pro: It can show your future employers/university how responsible and social you are.
con: They can see all the bad things you posted in that past and that can affect you chances of getting in.
pro: If you post positive things and are responsible online that will help your chances of getting in.
con: They will look for everything you have posted. So be careful.

4. How can I keep my digital footprint safe and appropriate
I can always be putting positive stuff in there.
I will not be posting anything inappropriate or negative on my digital footprint.
Make sure all your social media accounts are on private.
Only post stuff that would help you get a job not ruin your chance.
Only post stuff that won’t hurt other peoples feelings.

5. What information did I learn?
I learned to be responsible online and always be a positive influence to those around me.
I also learned that the digital footprint could help me in my future job opportunity’s.
I learned how to be responsible on social media and what not to post.

Ryan Spadola had a football scholarship with Lehigh University, until they found a tweet of him using very inappropriate Language. They then took away his scholarship
When DJ Gardner was caught writing an offensive tweet, Mississippi State University decided to take away his basketball scholarship.
