Dear Teacher, This item includes a Choice Board of activities that allow students to demonstrate his or her knowledge of A Wrinkle in Time. This is what is included… Choice board menu with 9 activities. A rubric or checklist to grade each of the 9 activities. 6 of the 9 activities come with templates to help students get started. A Wrinkle in Time Choice Board (Final Project)
Directions: Choose one of the projects listed below to complete. (Your teacher will give you a rubric (or checklist) and template [if applicable] for that particular project.) Create 12 Instagram posts (including captions and hashtags for each post) for each chapter of A Wrinkle in Time from Meg Murry’s point of view. Create a plot diagram poster that illustrates the exposition, conflict, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution of A Wrinkle in Time. Create a “Cliff Notes” booklet for A Wrinkle in Time. Summarize each of the 12 chapters. Give a full character analysis of each of the main characters. Describe 3 different settings. Create a Family Tree diagram of the Murry family with descriptions of each family member and how each character has changed over the course of the book A Wrinkle in Time. Write a song, rap, or poem summarizing the events of A Wrinkle in Time. Write 12 journal entries from Charles Wallace or Calvin O’Keefe’s point of view describing the plot of A Wrinkle in Time. Create an ABC’s of A Wrinkle in Time book. Each letter of the alphabet will tie back to the Science Fiction book including illustrations. (If you cannot draw, this is not for you.) Create a playlist of 15 songs that Meg Murry, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O’Keefe night listen to on their journey. This playlist must include songs relevant to events that take place in the story. (Be prepared to justify in writing why each song is appropriate for each event.) Create a triple Venn diagram comparing and contrasting Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which. Write a 5 paragraph report on your findings.
