Proposed Rental Rate Fee schedule

Priorities & Program Demands ESHS & WUSD Athletics (Contractually obligated to 3 hours each per day) Contract User Groups – Adult Training Programs (Can accommodate majority of request – “off peak”) Tower 26 SCAQ Coastal Masters Water Polo Contract User Groups – Youth Training Programs (Space to accommodate 2 groups comfortably*) Beach Cities Swimming Alpha Aquatics Trojan Water Polo Club South Bay United Water Polo *possibility of accommodating user groups not selected for aquatics center at the plunge; or alternating locations Lap Swim / Community Programming Miscellaneous Short-Term Rentals and Other Uses

Original Proposal / Revised Per Feasible Space Allocation, Original Space Requests & Proposed Fee Schedule Beach Cities Swimming ($210,000 / $160,000) + Event Rental ~400 swimmers; require at minimum 3-hour time block in comp pool Event Rental – currently capable of hosting large-scale meets of athletes Have requested 3 weekends in May, June & August for awarded USA-Swimming sanctioned meets Alpha Aquatics ($94,000 / $130,000) + Event Rental ~130 swimmers; require 2-hour time block in comp pool + teaching pool Event Rental – currently capable of hosting small/medium meets with athletes Have requested a day in March for Tri-Meet Possibly able to host larger scale meets in the future Trojan Water Polo ($83,400 / TBD depending on space) + Event Rental South Bay United Water Polo ($60,000 / TBD depending on space) + Event Rental

User Group Selection Options – Youth Teams DETERMINING PRIORITY USE DURING PEAK TIMES
Option A – Top Ranked Groups Multi-Sport (1 Swim Team + 1 Water Polo Club) Using the results of the RFP while also diversifying programs to two sports Option B – Top Revenue-Generating Groups (2 swim teams) Using the results of the RFP while focusing on revenue generation Provides for very limited space to be utilized for water polo or evening adult programming (i.e. after 8PM) Option C – Reject Proposals & Utilize Alternative Selection Criteria Utilize a selection process similar to the existing field allocation policy for athletic fields, based on foundational sports philosophies and/or residency rates
