Quy Nhơn is a coastal city in Binh Dinh province in central Viet Nam. It is composed of 16 wards and five communes with a total of 286 km² with 21 administrative units (16 wards and ive communes) with the population about over citizens. It is the economic – political, cultural – social, and scientiic – technical center of Binh Dinh Province and a first grade provincial city. The Government is having a general planning established for Quy Nhon City up to 2020, with a vision to Quy Nhon city is striving to become a national first grade city, with expanded area, a port city on the North – South and East – West corridors, a center of industry, trade, services, tourism, and international trade that will play a positive role to promote economic – social development of the whole central region and the Central Highlands.

The number of doctors and nurses per 1,000 people is low compared with the maximum standards. Reason: In previous years, the situation of the training of doctors and nurses across the country is generally low compared to actual needs. ( selection criteria doctor requested high ) Because socialization problems , some doctors working in local moves to work in the health facilities in large cities . Also, low wages were also problems affecting the number of doctors in the area.

Invest, upgrade medical facilities, public hospitals (including equipments, specialized machines) within the city; have incentives for private investor to build private medical facilities.
Encourage hospital from big cities (Hanoi or HCMC) to open branches in Quy Nhon in order to reduce travel time for people
