3. Student government advisor: Mrs. Gabel
The first three weeks of school there is an opportunity to become a leader on student government.
You join the club and officers are elected within the club.
You will help run fundraisers like the turkiest teacher.
You will also be able to organize events like spirit days and dodgeball tournaments.

4. Sf tv studio advisor: Mrs. Skarbek
Would you like to be a news reporter?
Well, you can start by becoming a……Spring Ford TV anchor.
No experience needed.
Your job will be to share the school announcements trhough the tv studio.

5. Chess club and game club advisor: Mrs. Gabel and Mr. Reagan
Meet every Monday January 27- April 6th
Chess club and board games are selected by the group to promote strategies for each game.
Bring a game or play one of ours.
Snacks are welcomed

6. Spring-Ford 5K Club advisor: Mr. Butterweck
 2 Months prior to the Spring-Ford 5K, the club will meet to progress from beginner to being able to run in the SF 5K. 
Club will meet 2-3 times a week depending on the weather.

7. ART CLUB advisor: Mr. Kissel
Students who join art club work on individual higher level art projects and create works to contribute to the overall beautification of the 7th grade center. 
This club also serves to inspire students interested in pursuing careers in art and design fields. 
The Art Club meets on Thursdays during 2nd, 3rd and 4th marking periods.    

8. Reading Olympics advisor: Mrs. Pinard
Reading Olympics meets once a month from October until the competition, with optional extra reading days. 
Join us for a chance to read some amazing books and then show off your skills at the competition!

9. World language club Advisor: Madame Brown and Señora Calvin
World Language Club meets once a month.
Everyone is invited to come to any meeting of their choice, whether it be 1, 2, or all 10.
We learn about and experience different cultural celebrations, make crafts, sample different foods, and even learn some new languages. We focus on ALL cultures, not just French and Spanish.
Look for our first meeting, Foods From Around the World, in September!

10. Intramural sports advisors: Mrs. Bologa and Mr. Reagan
Intramural Sports will run four different times throughout the year. 
Students who are interested in staying active while playing their favorite games, or learning new ones should attend. 
The students who come to intramurals get to pick the activity each day.  Previous favorites include basketball, kickball, team handball, flag football, soccer and floor hockey. 
No sign-up is needed and you can attend whenever you are able to, no worries if you have other commitments some days, just come when you can!

                                -TBD Cycle Days throughout January
                                -Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from February 18 through March 12
                                -Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from May 12 through June 4

12. P.R.I.D.E. GSA Advisor: Mrs. Fallstich
stands for People Respecting Individuality, Diversity, and Equality - Gender and Sexuality Alliance
a student-run group aimed to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and allies to promote education, to foster awareness, and to provide a forum for discussion about issues of sexuality and gender identity in a safe, respectful environment.
The 7th and 8th grade GSA will run all year and meets twice monthly.   Leadership positions are available and meet weekly to plan the group activities.
  It is open to ALL students who support and  value diversity in our community.

13. Homework Club advisors: Mrs. Bologa and Miss West
Homework Club meets twice a week throughout the school year.   
The main objective of our club is to provide a quiet place to complete homework and/or have a teacher available should a student have questions related to homework, studying for tests, or completing projects. 
 A goal of the club is to help the student develop the skills and habits required to be successful in their academics.

14. Builders club advisors: mr. Jarema and Mrs. bologa
Builders Club meets as a group once a month throughout the school year. 
The service activity that we participate in extend past that one meeting.  The main objective of the club is to provide opportunities for working together in service to school and community. 
We strive to develop leadership potential, to foster the development of strong moral character, and to encourage loyalty to school, community and nation.

15. Talent show advisor: Mrs. Gabel
January 8th and 9th are tryouts
Practices January 14th-22nd
Even show on January 23rd
Students showcase their talents for singing, dancing, playing music, comedy, juggling, and more.

16. Winter and Spring Play advisors: Mrs. Gabel and Miss West
Have a talent for acting and drama skills….tryout for school play!
Winter play tryouts are September 10th and 11th.
Practices are several times a week and the show will 7 PM November 15th.

17. Crafting club Advisors: Mrs. Ferko and Miss Borgnis
Crafting club meets 1-2 times a month
Various projects including: string art, button art, crayon art, season specials
Sign-ups are on monthly basis, so you may join for the projects you are interested in or come for all!

18. Yearbook advisor: miss West
This Club meets 3-4 times a month to create the 7th Grade Yearbook
Students are trained on how to use the software and assigned pages
Students are also tasked with taking candid pictures on Spirit Days or Special Interest Days.

19. Writers Club Advisor: Mrs. Snelling
Academic competition for students… Open to all interested.
Meets January - May
Tests knowledge across all subject areas.
2 teams of 8 actually compete against schools in Chester county.

20. Newspaper Club Advisor: Mrs. Snelling
Help bring the news to the students of 7th Grade center.
Be a reporter for the scoop newspaper.
We put out THREE ADDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.

21. Walking club Low intense physical exercise to get you moving.
Will start in the fall for a non-competitive but active club.

22. aevidum Help promote an accepting school environment.
Organize activities to promote positive social behavior and caring atmosphere.
