Greek words:
oikeo – to dwell, inhabit, to dwell in someone or something, to abide in
katoikeo – to dwell, to inhabit, to abide in
enoikeo – to dwell (in), to be present in, of God and of spiritual things that take up their abode in
meno – to remain in, abide in, dwell in, continue in

Example of words used:
Sin dwells in me (Rom. 7:17, 20)
An unfeigned faith in Timothy (2 Tim. 1:5)
The word of God abides in us (1 John 2:14, 24)

A literal, personal indwelling of our physical bodies…
Or, representatively by use of some means – that is indirectly through agency…

7. The Godhead dwells in Christians.
God abides in Christians, and they in Him (1 John 4:12-16).
Christ is in us, and we in Him (Galatians 4:19; Ephesians 3:17).
Likewise, the Spirit dwells in us, and we are to be in the Spirit.

Omnipresence is not equivalent to omniperson.
The Spirit can be present through instrumentality of His agents, works and appointments, without being present in person.

Attained and maintained by the obedience of faith to the inspired Scriptures of God.
Conformity to the Spirit’s revelation of the mind of God produces spiritual unity (1 John 1:7; Phil 2:5; Gal. 5:22-23).
