2 Your Task You and your two friends are almost done your restaurant tour your last stop is a Tunisian. You have a budget of $100 per person, in which you can spend to eat at the restaurant . Each person including yourself must have a appetizer, a main course and a dessert. You may pick from the list of foods presented. Once you have decided what each person is going to eat, total up your prices and see if you meet the budget

4 Appetizers Harissa : very common Tunisian appetizer, and will often be found as a part of every meal. The dish is a compote made of garlic, cumin, olive oil and dried chilli peppers. = $14 Couscous:Ground semolina served with meat, fish or vegetable sauce. = $18

5 Appetizers Salade mechouia: Roasted vegetable salad, particularly peppers, sometimes topped with boiled eggs slices. = $17 Brik : are fried triangle pastries filled with olive oil, parley, egg and tuna and often served with lemon to be squeezed on top.  = $19

6 Appetizers Lablabi or Lablebi : a dish based on chick peas in a thin garlic and cumin-flavoured soup, served over small pieces of stale crusty bread = $21 Shakshouka or shakshuka is a dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, chili peppers, and onions, often spiced with cumin. = $25

7 Main Course Ojja : a spicy stew made of meat, olive oil, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, harissa and egg. = $34 Berber–style lamb stew : A simple stew of lamb cooked with vegetables, such as potatoes and carrots, in a traditional clay pot. = $41

8 Main Course Felfel mahchi : Sweet peppers stuffed with meat, usually lamb, and served with harissa sauce. = $49 Kamounia : , is a beef and liver stew prepared with cumin It is a part of Egyptian cuisine and Tunisian cuisine. Lamb is also sometimes used as a primary ingredient = $38

9 Main Course Shawarma : is a Levantine meat preparation, where lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, veal, buffalo meat, or mixed meats are placed on a spit (commonly a vertical spit in restaurants), and may be grilled for as long as a day = $54 Merguez : small spicy sausages = $55

10 Deserts Makroudh : semolina cake stuffed with dates or almonds, cinnamon and grated orange peel. = $13 Yo-yo : donuts made with orange juice, deep fried, then dipped in honey syrup. = $22

11 Desserts Ftira : is a bread made with a mixture of semolina and regular wheat flour. The dough is shaped into small disks and fried.  Puffed up, with a crisp shell and a chewy interior, it is devoured  hot with  honey, powdered sugar, or  some chocolate sauce drizzled on top. = $24 Bomboloni Doughnuts : Small donuts deep fired and very soft in the middle covered in cinnamon and sugar = $19
