2 The verb querer To say what you or others want, use a form of the verb querer. The form you use depends on the subject. yo nosotros(as) queremos quiero quieres vosotros(as) queréis Ud., él, ella quiere Uds., ellos, ellas quieren

3 Querer with a noun or infinitive
Just as with gustar, you can use a noun or an infinitive after a form of the verb querer to say what you and others want or want to do. Quiero fruta. Quiero comer. I want some fruit. I want to eat. ¿Que quieres hacer? Quiero escuchar música. What do you want to do? I want to listen to music.
