Urban and rural communities have some similarities and many differences. City-Urban Country-Rural

They also both have roads that people travel on. Country-Rural City-Urban

5 Urban and suburban communities are alike because they both have schools in them. They also have restaurants and stores.

Another similarity between urban and rural communities is that they both have homes where people can live. City-Urban Country-Rural

These communities are different because urban areas have lots of tall buildings called skyscrapers that are very close together. However, rural areas have houses that are very far apart. Country-Rural City-Urban

8 Urban communities are very busy and noisy
Urban communities are very busy and noisy. On the other hand, rural communities are quiet.

While urban communities are very crowded, rural communities are not as crowded. City-Urban Country-Rural

In urban areas the land is used for buildings. In rural areas, the land is used for raising animals and growing food. Country-Rural City-Urban

Another difference between urban communities and rural communities is that urban areas have many more cars much more traffic than rural areas. City-Urban Country-Rural
