1. Aladdin Wishes vs. Monkey’s Paw Wishes

Have you ever wondered what you would do with 3 wishes? Most people would spend it on wealth, power, or happiness. In two stories, Aladdin and Monkey’s Paw, one character is offered three wishes. The Monkey’s Paw is centered on a couple and their son making wishes on a monkeys paw. In Aladdin a crook stumbles upon a genie that grants him three wishes. Throughout the stories both characters understand the consequences of wishing.

In the short story, The Monkey’s Paw, Mrs. White wanted to see Herbert again and they wished him alive again
In the text it states that Herbert walked up to the door and so Mr. White thought he would be all dead looking, so he wished him dead.
