3 Example Where do most people live in United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, and Italy based on location, climate, and natural resources. Most people live in the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, and Italy based on location, climate and natural resources. The United Kingdom is an island off of the coast of Europe. Most people who live there are located in the central region because of the major cities and in the southern region because of the coast and ports located there. The North Atlantic Current in the Atlantic Ocean brings warm air and water which creates a livable mild climate known as Marine West Coast. Because of the climate, ports throughout the U.K are open all year long which allows people to trade and work in these areas. Russia is located in Eastern Europe. The majority of Russia experiences a sub arctic climate which permanently freezes the ground. This is known as permafrost. Because of this climate, most of Russia’s natural resources and land are inaccessible. Since the climate is less harsh in Western Russia, people are located there. Most cities are in this region, some of the land is good for farming on the NEP in this area, and the Volga River is used as a natural resource and to trade, when parts of it are not frozen throughout the year. (You would follow the same format for answering Germany and Italy as I have done above.) In Europe people base where they live in the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany and Italy on such factors as the location of an area, the climate found in the region and the natural resources that are available for production and trading.
