1 “Freestyle Frisbee”

2 Frisbee is typically thrown from the mid section area of the body and released out in front, with the user generating spin. Spin is usually best when user “snaps” wrist while throwing. Release Frisbee parallel to ground. Eyes on target or “tracking.” Typically the throw is best using “non-opposition” hand and foot. Be able to judge the distance to your target. Students will be allowed to practice and warm-up daily with their teams prior to friendly competition. Procedure:

3 Basic Strategy of the Game:
Strategy of the game is to throw Frisbee (aka flying disc) to teammates and move to the end zone, upon which time a “goal” is scored!! Similar to a combination of Frisbee and soccer. The goal is to demonstrate mature throwing and movement skills by participating in a fun and recreational game using the Frisbee. Basic Strategy of the Game:

4 Modified & basic rules:
Each team consists of 5-6 players (see team assignments). Uneven number of players will rotate in and out every 3 plays. All players will participate and be physically active throughout the game. Strategize to move Frisbee down to your end zone without being intercepted or tagged out. Incomplete Frisbee pass is “live” and possession goes to first touch if in bounds, or last touch if out of bounds (re-enter from area where it went out of bounds). Two (2) hand tag and Frisbee stops at the point of tag (offense keeps possession of Frisbee unless intercepted). Intercepted Frisbee could be run back the entire way without the 3 pass rule. Frisbee must be passed at least three (3) times before reaching end zone. If not passed 3 times, score will not count and Frisbee will change possession to other team from your end zone. Modified & basic rules:

5 Modified & basic rules:
Absolutely no tackling or unsafe play will be allowed. Get to open field and avoid “bunching” formations. Frisbee to end zone counts as one (1) point then opponent restarts from end zone. Officiate your game and keep score. Out of bounds will re-enter from sideline. Stay tuned for more game modifications! Have fun! Modified & basic rules:
