A – Infiltration – downward flow of water into rock or soil B – Surface Runoff – Water on the surface which moves towards a stream or lake without infiltrating the soil C- Water Table – The upper limit of the saturated zone D – Groundwater flow – Water in the saturated zone that moves towards a point of discharge such as a body of water or a well E – Discharge area – An area in which water is lost from the saturated zone F – Evaporation – The process by which water becomes vapor in the atmosphere G – Transpiration – The process in which water vapor is released to the atmosphere by plants H – Precipitation – Water that falls directly from clouds as rain or snow I – Condensation – The process in which water vapor becomes liquid

Determine where you used the most water Research or formulate a plan on how you and others can cut down on your water usage Create a PSA poster to put in the hall to raise awareness What you need to have A slogan on how you and other high school students can save water A picture representing your slogan A statistic on water to back up your slogan.
