Introduction I’m going to present to you an overview of formal presentations. The focus of today’s presentation is to give you all understanding of what are the formal presentation standards.

4 How I Create My Formal Presentations
The presentation today would be into three parts. First, I’ll be discussing what makes a formal presentation at it’s best sometimes meaning to include the 5 W’s (Who, What, When, Where, and Why)? Don’t forget to include How. Following that I’ll touch on how it’s important that you give information to share on your ideas and research findings. Finally making sure your audience knows your preferences for this presentation.

5 Example… “Good afternoon everyone, it’s great to see you all here, thank you for taking the time out to view this amazing PowerPoint. My name is Kashawanda Lewis, friends call me Bebe majority of the time. I am a Lead Teacher at a daycare by profession and working towards my AAS in the Criminal Justice Studies program. First, we will look at what is formal presentation, next we will discuss what a formal presentation consist of, then how can we use it and what’s it’s advantages, and finally we will discuss how to put one together.

6 Tips We prepare differently for different audiences. For example: Team A will expect something differently than Team B Have an idea of the knowledge level of the expected audience and prepare you documentation accordingly. The tone should be adjusted to the level of the audience The presentation should answer and explain the 5 W’s even the How and most should be given in the introduction Any type of visual aide should be clear and not unclear
