Floor Hockey
Christmas Break!
This unit will include practicing the techniques of stickhandling, passing, shooting, defense, and goaltending in hockey lead-up games and team activities. This will be to challenge each grade level in a different way to allow them to benefit the most from the units.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Get outside and go sledding, make snowmen and snowwomen, make snow angels, have a snowball fight, and make igloos! I’m excited to see all of our students in the New Year!
The temperature is dropping and Christmas is getting very close! Make sure our students are dressing warm for school so they can stay healthy! As the students start dressing warmer and wearing boots, please make sure they bring a change of gym shoes for gym so they can participate and avoid injury! Safety is our main priority.
The students will continue to participate in sports that are geared for indoors such as hockey. Hockey will be the main focus for December (there is only 3 full weeks in December).
Santa’s secret workshop is from 12/11- 12/13. Also, the All School Field Trip to Little Red Riding Hood’s Big Adventure is on 12/12. Make sure you are ready to finish the year strong and keep up all the hard work before Christmas break starts on 12/24 - 1/4.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT
The athlete/team of the month for December is the Los Angeles Rams. They are off to an amazing start of the season with the record of They have just beaten the Kansas City Chiefs who are now 9-2. The Rams have a very good chance to continue their success throughout the rest of the season. I think they have a well rounded team and in my opinion are the team to watch going late into the NFL season!
