The rating categories used for Standards 1-5 are different from those used for Standard 6 because of the nature of the focus for the sixth standard (student growth data). The focus for Standards 1 through 5 for teachers is their skills, knowledge and behavior, whereas Standard 6 focuses on student growth outcomes.
