2 Dresser-Rand Company has been among the largest global suppliers of rotating equipment solutions.
Compressors Steam Turbines Expanders Gas Turbine Packages Control Systems

3 The Problem: Moving the Dresser Rand’s compressor cases around the facility Rotate a case 90 degrees from vertical. To support the case for both horizontal and vertical movements. To support more than 100,000 pounds. Currently process can be: Unsafe Damaging to the case Damaging to the facility.

4 Mission Statement: The objective of this project is to develop, design and build a safe compressor lifting technique for flipping and rotating finished compressor cases for the Dresser Rand Olean Manufacturing Facility. Key Business Goals: Increase safety (operators, cases, facility) Complete the case flipping and rotating quicker Reduce the number of operators Reduce the ergonomic and human factors effects
