Prescription Medicines – written approval of a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacist
OTC – without prescription

8. Medicine Misuse
Medicine Misuse – use of a medicine in a way other than the one intended
Examples:
Giving your prescription medicine to someone else
Taking too much or too little
Taking for longer than it was prescribed

9. Medicine Misuse Taking someone else’s medicine
Discontinuing use without telling the doctor
Mixing medicines
