2. 3rd Grade Behavior Plan
Our classrooms use a mark system for our behavior policy.
-Please check & sign your child's agenda each afternoon.
H- homework
R- responsibility
D- disrespect
OT - off task
Good behavior will be rewarded with Dojo Points. The points will be tracked and at certain point levels, the students can get a prize or ticket for that point level.
You can keep track of your student on the Dojo website. Sign in page is linked on class webpage. Please let me know if you need the information on how to sign in with your child’s info.

3. Overview
Study the core subjects of: math, science, social studies, English/Language Arts (E/LA).
Attend related arts classes on a 7 day rotation: music (1-2), library, computer lab, PE (X2), guidance (1-2), and art
Choir tryouts will start next Music class
There will be a production of Annie and tryouts will be Oct for Choir members only
Enhance technology skills & cultural awareness

Nurse Angie (please know that Nurse Angie is not allowed to treat any injuries that have happened outside of school)
If you want your child to have medication, you need to bring the medication in to the nurse.

5. Essential Skills
Essential skills are the standards and concepts that we are guaranteeing that your child will know by the time they leave 3rd grade.
With that being said, we need your help!! We only have so much time with our sweet students and continued learning at home is vital to meeting our goal.

6. Grading Scale & Homework
A (well above level)
85-92 B (above level)
75-84 C (at level)
70-74 D (below level)
Below 70 F (well below level)

Minimum of 9 grades per 9 weeks

7. Daily Procedures Schedule Homework & Absentees
Teachers will swap between classrooms each day for the first half of the year.

Mrs. Patterson= ELA and Social Studies
Take Home Folders
Classwork Folders
Absentees will have 5 days after the date of return to make up work (per policy in agenda)
Marks will be in agendas
Agendas signed daily

10:00 -10:30 continue Block 1 (Science)
10:35-11:20 RTI
11:35-12:25 Lunch and Recess
12:25-2:40 Block 2 (ELA & Social Studies)

9. Cafeteria
Student lunches cost $2.50.
Visitor lunches cost $3.50.
