2. Using Library Search to find Journals
Type terms into search box.
On next page click Advanced Search
Use drop-down menu in Materials Type box to select Journals.

3. Looking for journals which contain the words research and education in their titles.

4. Results shown here are mainly for books.Click Advanced Search link.

5. Use drop-down menus to read in the title and, for Material type, Journals. Click Search.

6. Search produces 90 results for journals which have the words research and education within their titles, 86 of these are on-line journals.

JER is available from 3 sources. The EBSCO databases go back as far as 1974 but have an embargo on the full-text issues of the last 12 months; Proquest goes back as far as 1996 and has a similar embargo on the current year.

Type subject/phrase into Search box and, click tab Articles
On subsequent page select appropriate subject area from drop-down menu [All Databases ]
Put search term/s in inverted commas and click GO
Resulting articles will be drawn from a collection of databases gathered together by subject.

18. Refining Search further:
Click on Refine my results on left of screen to make search more specific.

20. 8 articles relating to literacy and early childhood are listed.
