1. Unit 4: Local Weather Title page: 62L
Have students open to page 62 of Science Notebook. Have them label page 62L Local Weather. They are to nothing else here. Leave the rest blank.

2. 63R 63L “Weather Phenomenon” What I Wonder What I Notice Mine: Class:
Have students turn to page 63 and copy this. Give them time to copy. Walk around and be sure they are all copying it. If they do not have their notebook have them write it on a separate sheet of paper they can glue it later.

3. As you watch this Phenomenon write down
“WHAT I NOTICE” (pg 63R) and “WHAT I WONDER” (pg 63L)
Be prepared to share and discuss with the class.
Click on the work phenomenon and play it lots of times. Slow it down. Give them time to really observe it and write down what they notice and what they wonder.

Have students volunteer to tell the class what they noticed and what they wonder. Can go over verbally or make a list on the board ect. Students are to add other students ideas to their list on page 63.

5. Draw a land breeze and a sea breeze on Page 64L.

Have them draw these pictures on the top of page 64L and explain on the bottom of 64L
