Someone whose life is all together and Jesus is about to shake it up.

8. The more we focus on making ourselves better, the more frustrated we become when we let ourselves down. We have to learn that WE CAN NOT CHANGE OURSELVES... We can only be TRANSFORMED.

Peter had spent time with Jesus, but he really hadn’t made a firm commitment to follow him.

Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
