1 Thank you for coming to Samsbiblestories.com and for taking a look at the lessons I have added. These lessons are the result of years of teaching Sunday school at an Elementary level. God has richly blessed me in being able to share His Word with thousands of young people. It is now my privilege to share them with you. Please feel free to use them with your class, wherever God has planted you. The only think I ask is that you drop me a line and let me know who you are and how the lessons are working for you. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. samueldselby@gmail God Bless you, Sam God Bless

A. I am sick and tired of fishing, how about you just create a few fat fish for us and we can have a fish-fry. B. I believe that you are the Son of God, and I will be happy to go fishing with you. C. I have been fishing all night and know the fishing is terrible, but sure, I’ll take you fishing if you want to.

6 A bad night fishing Luke 5:1-11 Netfix 5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” 6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

7 A bad night fishing Luke 5:1-11 Netfix What do you think Peter’s attitude will be after this event? A. I bet you sure are happy that you had me along Jesus. Now you see what a top notch fisherman I really am. C. Peter told Jesus how awesome it was to go fishing with God’s Son, and by the way, “Can we do this again tomorrow?” B. Peter realized his sin of unbelief and asked Jesus to leave him because of this unbelief.

Peter realized his sin of unbelief and asked Jesus to leave him because of this unbelief. 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” 9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken.

10 Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” 11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him. The Conclusion
