3 Creating Solana Users During this lesson you will be asked to follow along in your Solana environment and complete a series of exercises. Please allow approximately 45 minutes to complete the course. ‘Getting Started in Solana’ was the previous lesson in the series.

User Groups and Rights Settings We’ll Click on User Groups to return to the Main Screen and see how to create a new User Group. POS includes rights for the typical functions of a School Manager. You can search for Users by entering some or all of the User Name, First Name or Last Name in the Search Box. Then hit Enter on the keyboard to find records that Contains or Starts With the letters entered. Or, you can click the filter icon to select either Contains, Starts With or Is Equal To. When creating a New User, the first screen requires you to select a User Group for that user. Click the Blue Arrow, then select by clicking on your selection. Typically, Cashiers do not log into the Solana website, only the site terminal , but an entry is required. Provide a ‘phony’ address, like for each Cashier. Anyone logging into the site terminals (not the Solana website) will do so with a unique, 4 digit PIN.
