5 Register for eListing 1. Fields with asterisks are required. 2. Fields without an asterisk are not required. 3. Help phone number and email are at the bottom of each eListing page.

6 Your User Name and Password 1. At least 2 out of the 8 or more characters for your password must be something other than numbers or letters. For example, !, #, *, &… 2. Your security question should be something only you would be able to answer.

9 User Account Profile 1. Confirms that you are logged in with your username. 2. These buttons allow you to modify your Account Profile. 3. The first time you log in, you will not see any accounts here. After adding accounts using the “Add Account Access” button, your accounts will appear here.

14 Add Account Users This feature allows you to give access to one or multiple users for each of your accounts. Those users may then view and update account data. 15 Updating Account Users Once users are set up, they may be given permissions to either view only or to modify specified accounts. Users can be removed and permissions changed. 17 Deleting Users Remember, it is your responsibility as a business owner to delete any and all users you do not wish to have access to your account. For example, if you change accountants, you must update user permissions. 18 Accessing and Navigating in an Account 1. Go directly to any section of the account by clicking its link in the blue column along the left side. 2. To work sequentially through the eListing, click the Next button in the bottom right corner of each page.

19 Account General Information 1. Change any info that needs to be updated. 2. If you change the physical location, make sure to enter the date of the move. 3. Always Save before going to next section.

20 Business Sold 1. If your business was sold, make sure to provide all requested information on the sale. 2. Don’t forget to send, fax or email copies of the documents to the Assessor’s Office.

21 Business Closed or Moved Out of County 1. If you closed or moved your business out of King County, provide all of the requested information.

22 Mailing Address & Contact Info 1. Keep the taxpayer name and mailing address updated so you receive all mailings from the Assessor’s Office promptly. 2. The name and contact info of the person who should be contacted with any questions regarding the listing.

23 Exemptions 1. Head of Family is for qualifying Sole Proprietors ONLY. 2. Check the box if you qualify for the Farm exemption and... 3. Click on the Qualification Questionnaire link and send, fax or email the completed form to the indicated address or number listed.

25 Adding New Assets 1. Use the drop down menu to select an appropriate category code. 2. After adding year and cost, select a reason by using the drop down menu. 3. If you have rental DVDs, videos or game cartridges, enter the quantity. 4. After adding each new asset, make sure to click on Add New Owned Asset.

26 Editing Existing Assets 1. After clicking Edit, make any needed changes. 2. If you no longer have the asset, check the delete box. 3. To save any changes including deletes, click Update or click Cancel to undo changes.

27 Adding Formerly Leased Assets 1. Enter new formerly leased assets by filling in the top portion of the page, the same as adding other new assets. 2. Be sure to click the Add New Formerly Leased button.

28 Editing Formerly Leased Assets 1. Click Edit. 2. Update any asset information. 3. Click the Delete box if you no longer have the asset. 4. Click Update or Cancel.

29 Adding and Editing Leasehold/Tenant Improvements 1. Add new Leasehold/Tenant Improvements by entering data and clicking the Add New Leasehold/Tenant Improvement button. 2. Edit existing assets by clicking Edit, updating the info and then clicking Update in the same manner as on the Owned Assets page.

30 Leased Property The first time you add Leased Property, you’ll need to add the leasing company’s name. Thereafter, that name and any others you’ve added will be available in the drop down menu. 33 Finishing and Submitting your Listing 1. The Verify box must be checked before clicking on the Finish button. 2. Make sure that your Listing is completely accurate before clicking the Finish button to submit your listing. After clicking Finish, you will need to reactivate your listing to make changes.

34 Confirmation 1. This page confirms that your listing was submitted. 2. Reactivate the account to make changes by returning to the Profile Page. Click on the account number and then the Activate for Resubmit button. Remember to resubmit after completing changes. 3. Please print the listing for your records. The Click here to print listing for your records button will take you to the Print Version page. Click the Print this page button. Congrats--You’re finished! Quick, and easy as pie.
