4. Wednesday, September 20, 2017: Drop-In Day
Counselors will be in Media Center periods 1-9 to work with Seniors on:
Creating a Common App account
Signing the FERPA Waiver
Linking Naviance and Common App
Requesting Teacher Recs
Answering questions

5. Authorization for Release of Records
Pink form in Counseling Department

Courses in Progress/Quarterly & Mid-Year Grades

6. Request for Records to College
Blue form in Counseling Department
Must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to deadline.
Records can only be sent electronically if a school is in the “Colleges I’m Applying to” and on Common App if using Common App

Bi-weekly bulletin ed to juniors, seniors and their parents and posted on website.
Includes a list of college rep visits, dates to remember, scholarship opportunities, open house information and other relevant information.
Make sure we have your address on file

11. Standardized Testing
Please note: Students are responsible for knowing the specific requirements for each of their schools and for requesting official scores reports direct from the testing agency
AP scores are used for class placement or credit only at most colleges. Recently, some colleges use AP scores as the “test flexible” submission in place of SAT or ACT
