Every voter in Madera County will receive a vote-by-mail ballot and will have the opportunity to return it by mail, drop it at a ballot drop off location (free of charge) or vote at any Madera County Vote Center as early as 10 days before election day.

9. All Mail Ballot Election
Vote By Mail:
On May 7th 2018 (E-29) every registered voter will be sent a vote by mail ballot.
On May 8th 2018 (E-28) four ballot drop off locations will open ( 1/15,000 voters)
The Government Center drop box will be outside, drive-up and open 24 hours day until 8p.m. on election day

11. Vote By Mail Options Mail It Drop Box Vote Center
Voters can return their voted ballot by U.S.P.S. as long as it is postmarked by election day.

Voters can drop their ballot at a ballot drop box, postage free until 8pm on Election Day
Vote Center
Voters may drop their voted ballot at one of 6 vote centers open as early as 10 days before election day through 8pm on Election Day.

Six vote centers, located across Madera County, will replace 40 traditional polling locations. Unlike polling locations, Vote Centers will be open multiple days, offer more services and can serve any Madera County Voter.

15. Vote Centers-11 day
On May 26th 2018 (E-10) two vote centers (1/50,000 voters) will open at 8am and be open from 8am through 5pm for the 10 days before election day and from 7am to 8pm on Election Day.
The first two vote centers will be open for 11 days including two weekends.
Madera County Voters may chose to vote, in person, at any Vote Center, regardless of where they live.

On Saturday, June 2nd 2018 (E-3) four additional vote centers (1/15,000 voters) for a total of 6 vote centers will open at 8am and be open from 8am through 5pm for the 3 days before election day and from 7am to 8pm on Election Day.
