3 Case Study : Idea Cellular wanted to promote its brand through its brand new concept of “For the people, by the people”. The Challenge : Idea sought to attract new clients, maintain the loyalty of its existing customers, and build brand recognition through its innovative concept. The Solution : Idea’s first decision was selecting the most appropriate advertising medium. Online advertising was the obvious choice because the digital medium was the most direct way to reach new and potential customers—at lower cost per contact and with the likelihood of higher conversion rates. Idea teamed up with 123Greetings to promote banner and mailer campaigns to meet their objectives. Through 123Greetings, which is the largest online greetings site Idea was able to target individuals who subscribed to Idea offers. The Results: The primary objective—an increase in the number of active. The campaign’s CTR was above traditional online advertising, thanks to the large customer segmentation 123Greetingstools offer. Idea was happy with the results, which exceeded quantitative objectives, and from a qualitative standpoint exposed the brand to their target audience.
