Roles In our team everyone shares their ideas and gives his opinion. Abdulla and Olivier are responsible for dealing with the first task the project: Market Analysis. Marie P. and Marie S. are responsible for the Marketing part of the project. Operations Management will be taken care of by Martin. Marie S. volunteered to edit the final report and submit. f a team member is unable to communicate or participate for any reason, the member must inform the team as soon as possible. In case of a task is performed in poor quality according to the team, the latter must be redone by the member(s). In case of the conflict eruption, the members will discuss it before referring to a coach. When a team member is behaving unprofessionally, the team will vote to exclude the member from the team. In case there is conflict on the perception or quality of what the research is or how specific it should be, the team should discuss to determine the most appropriate course of action. Evaluation For each weekly peer evaluation, we will be honest, objective and we won’t protect a member if he does nothing unless he has a good reason not to participate in a task. The weekly grades reflect your performance, not our friendship. We will not tolerate plagiarism and we will report this. X-Culture from a student’s perspective
“Taking on the X-culture assignment pushed me in a corner to take on the lead role for the team. Nobody wanted it, and I really didn’t think I wanted it. In my heart, from the very beginning, I knew I was the one who was going to get “stuck” with it. Well, I am sure glad I did get stuck with it. I discovered an organizational mindset that surprised the heck out of me, and I had a blast! X-Culture was definitely a stretch for me. I was out of my comfort zone but discovered, truly, how much you can grow when you are pushed out of that comfort zone. Now I know a different level of who I am. I am a person who is willing to step out, take a chance, and see what comes out on the other end. Another dimension of something about myself that was purged out for me to discover. I couldn’t be more proud or pleased!” Sheron Bass

X-Culture’s feedback to our students:
Dear Marc, We are almost done with evaluating and ranking your team reports and will be announcing the winners of the Round of the X- Culture competition in a few days. I know the X-Culture project was probably quite demanding and some students found it challenging to work in a global virtual team. However, you completed a full-scale consulting project and developed a business solution for a real company while working with people from several different countries. That’s quite an accomplishment. Congratulations! Looking back, I hope you find it a useful experience. Now, within the next week, you will receive your: performance review Cultural Intelligence report recommendation letter X-Culture Global Business Certificate. These documents will be sent to you as a high-resolution, print-ready PDF files. Please do not lose them. We hear literally hundreds of stories when the X-Culture Certificate helped students get jobs. Most students do not have this sort of experience. You do – and employers value it. More soon. Sincerely, Dr. Vas Taras X-Culture Project Founder and Coordinator
