1 World at war – day 1 Vocabulary
Do Now – TAG IN!!! If you didn’t….then do it. 1.  Take off your hoodies and headphones. Put away your phones! 2.  Put your Unit 2 Notebook Check in the BOX! You have five minutes to organize your Unit 2 Binders!  Completed Scoring Guide and Reflection on top, followed by your table of contents…then on the bottom of the stack is your sheet of notes from the presentation day (10M) or your discussion reflection half-sheet (10X).

4 Vocabulary Page 11 in Resource Book Use Chapters 24, 25, and 27 in textbook
30 minutes to complete Define the vocab words – do this first for all words – connect to World War 1 and 2. Write word history.  Use in a sentence/or give an example  Draw if you can Historical significance – how is this word important for understanding WW1 or WW2 -Totalitarianism -Isolationism -Anti-Semitism -Propaganda -Axis -4 words of your choice from textbook – see chapters -Allies -Pacifism -Appeasement

5 We are going to write a story together as a class using the vocabulary used today.
The topic of the story is of a 9th grader coming to TJHS. Class Story
