APCS Grading Day A User’s Manual

Getting Started Fill out all of the information at the top of the sheet. You are responsible for all of that information. (10% penalty) Leave your sheet at your seat.

Grading someone’s code
Read the instructions carefully. If you misgrade them, you will lose the points too. Grader’s Comparison: Look at their code for a difference that you will write on YOUR OWN grade sheet.

Grader’s Comparison Find a significant difference in approach between their code and yours. It should be in the hard part of the assignment. When you return to your own seat, write about the following: The difference Whose was better Why it was better

Turning in your code If you are NOT regrading, staple your source code UNDER the Test Case sheet and turn them in to your class folder. If you ARE regrading, do not staple code until you have a new Test Case sheet filled out. However, turn in the original Test Case today anyway.

The Regrade option You have until I go home the following school day to regrade. That time period is considered 1 day late. I will average the OLD and the NEW score. Each day after that, you will lose 10% off of the average of the OLD and the NEW.

The Regrade option Get a new Test Case grade sheet from the Handouts folder. Get someone to grade your code. Find your OLD test case in the folder on the table. Staple your NEW Test Case on top of your OLD Test Case with the new printed source code.

Electronic Copy Make sure to turn in the .java file of the finalized code to the appropriate folder in my IN box
