We read or some way receive information on what’s happening almost every day. We know what’s happening globally instead of just locally. Examples; War Stock market crashes New technology Natural disasters

5 Why is it important to know what is happening globally rather than just locally?
A lot of different events occur in other parts of the world that are not things you would hear of locally. An event or crisis happening around the world could travel to your location. Knowing what’s happening globally could prepare you for disasters that can possibly affect you locally and allows us to help others sooner..

6 How does journalism affect our opinions?
Most people believe that journalist are reporting truthful facts. What people hear or see a news story they can form an opinion whether they like or dislike the subject. Sometimes a news story can strengthen an already existing opinion.

7 Why is receiving our news/journalism important?
Is the information accountable? Where did the information come from? Is the journalist a professional/reliable? Is it from Facebook or Twitter?
