4 About my background I was born in Scotland and so were all of my family. My dad is from Dundee in the North East and my mum is from Ayrshire in the South West. I like living in Scotland in the summertime because I like the sunshine but I dont like it much when it gets colder and rains lots! 5 Disability I understand that if someone is disabled it means that they arent fully capable to look after themselves 24 hours a day and need some help sometimes. I think that disabled people should be treated the same as everyone else and should be able to do the same things as others. Although I think they should be offered help in any way that it is needed, I dont think they should be made to feel any different than anyone else. At my school/college there are disabled people and there are lifts, flat floors, disabled toilets and big corridors to make moving around easier for them. In general, I think Scotland has many facilities for disabled people. Most buildings are easy for the disabled to get to and around.
