The Stolen Party: Turn to page 118 to read the next short story as a class. Once we have finished reading, answer questions 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8, which start on page 122.
Catacombs and Carnival: Read the short passage on page 127 and write a short response (3-5 sentences) underneath explaining the purpose of carnival.
Grammar Check (if time): We will read through the punctuation lesson on page 115. Then with a partner, determine the correct punctuation mark for each sentence under number 4 on page 116.
