What is the difference between a prefix and a suffix? How can you make your sentences better? How can you tell if it is a suffix and not just how the word is spelled? Why should you prove what you know? Assessment Strategy Students will demonstrate how to match subjects and verbs. Students will create sentences with words that have prefixes or suffixes. Students can explain how adding verbs to a sentence can make it better. Students will show how to change words by adding prefixes or suffixes and use in sentences. Students will do RTI as needed to reinforce skills.
