Students will use manipulative to determine different ways to make 10.
Create a turkey with one of the ways to make 10 and write a numbers sentence.
Compose and decompose a turkeys feathers to show different ways to make 10.
Students will learn the patter to making 10 using the Rainbow to 10 strategy. Work with partners using the rainbow strategy to complete number sentences.
Using cubes they will show and document ways to make 10.
Play Ten Turkeys game to practice making 10 skills.
