2 REGISTRATION CARD Signatures required - AP/Honors/Levels
Sign-up for the courses you prefer (don’t choose your classes based on the period you think the class will be offered). We build the master schedule around what works for the majority. Challenge yourself – rigor in senior year is crucial Continue with Math Great preparation for college classes and/or college math placement test If you test below college level math, you will have to take MORE math classes to reach college level math (which means MORE money out of your pocket and more time) 2

4 ERWC EXPOSITORY READING AND WRITING COURSE
Placement is automatic based on your 11th grade testing Intended for students who place “Conditionally Ready for College Level Coursework” on the CAASPP test Satisfies 12th Grade Language Arts 4 Helps to prepare you to be college level ready A grade of C or better in ERWC will exempt you from taking English Placement Exam for CSUs and most community colleges 4

SUMMER SCHOOL How do you get enrolled in summer school? Applications become available in March in counseling It’s YOUR responsibility to obtain the application from your counselor Why would you need summer school? F in a high school graduation requirement class Remember Cs or better are required for the following: 4 year college admission requirements Advancing to next level of Math or Language Other Than English Summer School Programs See flyer with summer school program offerings When in doubt, see your counselor! 9
