Discussions with clients and other IT organizations will be consistent with this plan.
The technology plan will be regularly updated to reflect changes in business plan and advances in technology.

The use of the very latest technology is a secondary to using tried-and-true technologies well.
Technical groups will only implement technologies and products consistent with these strategic selections.

ITSS will choose and demonstrate prowess in targeted areas of technology.
Innovative use and creation of technologies is consistent with Stanford University’s role as a leader.
