Next, complete the front side of your sheet based on your novel.
Tip: Use the E.L.A. Terms section of your I.A.N. to help you with terms like plot, setting, and/or conflict.

Standard: ELASE6RL1 – Cite textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.
Learning Targets: Identify claims. Elect your position on these claims. Support your claim with logical reasoning and relevant evidence.

Synthesis Posters
Working in your Literature Circle groups, you will:
Create a Synthesis Poster that follows the bullet points on #2 your Synthesis Poster handout. Keep this handout in your reading portfolio.
You must first complete a rough draft on the printer paper provided before you will receive your poster paper.
We will work on this poster in class each day, but it is due no later than Thursday, March 1, (That’s the Thursday we return from Winter Break.)

Complete work on your role and the Artful Artist portion based on what we have read so far.
I will collect these completed sheets (front and back) on Mondays and Thursdays.
