About 70% of the earth’s surface is covered by water.
99.4% of water on earth is inaccessible to humans.
It is either salt water or in glaciers/polar ice caps.

In the atmosphere: water vapor, ice, snow, hail, sleet, rain
In glaciers: Ice, solid water
In groundwater: liquid, ice if cold enough, or as water vapor in spaces between rocks and in soil
