2. Steps to Opening a PPT
1. Click on “Start” at the bottom left-hand corner of the computer.
Find Microsoft Office PowerPoint icon (Pink and white, square icon)
[You may have to go to “All Programs” > “Microsoft Office” on the computer; it depends how it’s set up.]
2. There will be a space that indicates to “Insert Title Here.”
Click your cursor on that box and type “Practice.”

3. Immediately save this file to your folder!!!!!

3. Go to “File” and move your cursor down to “Save As.”
3. Double Click “StudentBV” folder
(you may have to first click on “Desktop” on the left-hand sidebar)

4. Immediately save this file to your folder!!!!!
3. Double click “Grade 4” folder
3. Double click “Unland” folder

5. Immediately save this file to your folder!!!!!
4. REMEMBER TO NAME THE FILE! : In the box that reads, “File name:” highlight the entire name (put your cursor at the beginning of the name, click on your mouse, and then drag your cursor across the name.
After it is highlighted, type in the name that you are going to save your document as. In this case, please type in “Regions [initials here].ppt”
5. Now click on “Save”.
Please remember to always put your initials at the end of your document name.
